Estimada Olga Weisfeiler:
En relación al fax que enviara a S.E. la Presidenta de la República,
señora Michelle Bachelet Jeria, sobre la situación de su hermano Boris, informo
a usted que el Supremo Gobierno de Chile no tiene competencia alguna para
intervenir en los procesos judiciales que son tramitados por los Tribuanles de
Justicia, en cualquiera de sus instancias, asi ha sido desde el retorno a la
democracia de nuestro país, y constituye uno de los pilares fundamentales de un
Estado de Derecho Democrático, por lo cual, no es posible intervenir de manera
alguna en el proceso que menciona.
Sin perjuicio de lo anterior, agradecemos la información que
enviara.

With regard to the fax you
sent to Your Excellency the President of the Republic, Michelle Bachelet Jeria,
about the situation of your brother Boris, I inform you that the Supreme
Government of Chile has absolutely no power to intervene in the judicial
investigations being handled by the Courts of Justice, in any of its
procedures. That is how it has been since the return to democracy in our
country and constitutes one of the fundamental pillars of a Democratic State of
Rule, and thus, it is not possible to intervene in any way in the legal case
you mention.
